When we created The Hummingbird Whisper, we wanted it to carry that understanding. Every child deserves tools for inner calm, for big feelings, for the kind of quiet courage that sees them through hard days. Military children especially.

United Through Reading
A 501(c)(3) nonprofit connecting deployed service members to their children through the power of shared storytime. Since 1989, they have served over 3.2 million military family members and distributed 800,000 books to military children worldwide. A $25 donation saves storytime for one family.

Our own commitment to the littlest members of military families. Through this initiative, we work directly with on-post daycares to donate books and resources to military children in early childhood care. Safe, nurturing childcare is part of the mission too.
